A Chinese Celadon Jade Dagger-Form Blade.
The blade carved from a pale celadon jade of softly mottled tone, displaying natural inclusions and speckled mineral variation throughout the surface. The form is elongated with a gently tapering body leading to a rounded yet defined point. Subtle bevelled edges run along both sides, converging toward the tip and creating a restrained, symmetrical profile.
The tang is stepped and flattened, pierced with a small circular aperture for attachment, and terminates in a notched end. The surface is smoothly worked with visible linear striations consistent with shaping and polishing, while retaining the natural cloudy matrix of the stone.
