A Chinese Gilt Bronze Buddha Head, 19th Century.

The head is cast in bronze with a gilt surface, depicting the Buddha with a serene expression, downcast eyes, arched brows, and softly modelled facial features. The hair is rendered with tightly formed curls gathered into a domed ushnisha. The surface shows areas of wear to the gilding, particularly around the hair and edges.
