A Khorasan Copper-Inlaid Bronze Vase with Kufic Inscriptions, 12th Century.
The vase features a flared mouth and rounded body rising from a stepped circular foot. Finely engraved and inlaid with copper, the surface is decorated with alternating medallions of arabesque scrolls and panels of Kufic inscriptions. The neck and base are further adorned with interlaced geometric and calligraphic bands, while the rim displays foliate ornamentation.
