The interior is decorated in the doucai palette of underglaze blue and overglaze translucent enamels, featuring a central medallion depicting a fruiting branch surrounded by four floral sprays in the well. The exterior is similarly decorated with a continuous scene of trailing vines bearing clusters of grapes and tendrils, interspersed with sprays of pomegranate, peach, and melon. A band of classic scrolls decorates the foot.
