A Chinese gilt bronze terminal in the form of a dragon’s head, likely once mounted on the end of a staff or ceremonial object. The dragon is boldly cast with flared nostrils, bared fangs, and a curling tongue, its head crowned with stylised horns and a segmented crest. The neck is finely incised with linear mane detailing and subtle scale patterns.
