A Chinese monochrome yellow-glazed porcelain dish of circular form with shallow rounded sides rising to a slightly flared rim, supported by a short tapered foot. The vessel is covered both internally and externally with a rich, translucent yellow glaze, often described as egg-yolk or imperial yellow. The underside is finished with a clear white glaze and bears a six-character reign mark in underglaze blue within a double-line circle. The mark is written in two vertical columns and reads Da Qing Yongzheng Nian Zhi, which translates to Made in the Yongzheng reign of the Great Qing.
D: Approximately 19.8cm
Condition report:
The dish is in good overall condition with no visible cracks, chips, or signs of restoration. There are some minor dark speckles and slight unevenness to the glaze on the interior surface, consistent with kiln grit or surface wear associated with age.
