Lot 190: A CHINESE MONOCHROME COPPER-RED GLAZED PORCELAIN DISH, YONGZHENG MARK.
A Chinese porcelain dish of circular form featuring shallow rounded sides and a slightly tapered foot ring. The interior and exterior surfaces are finished with an even, deep copper-red glaze. The glaze recedes at the rim to reveal a well-defined white edge, a characteristic often associated with sacrificial red wares. The base is covered in a white glaze and bears a six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle. The mark reads Da Qing Yongzheng Nian Zhi, which translates to Great Qing Yongzheng Period Made.
D: Approximately 20cm
Condition report:
The dish is in good condition overall. There is visible surface wear, including light scratching and minor scuffing to the red glaze on the interior. The unglazed foot ring exhibits expected shelf wear and small areas of kiln grit. No chips, cracks, or signs of restoration are visible.
