The sculpture features prominent upward-curving horns, detailed facial features, and a muscular anatomical rendering. The tail is long and sinuous, flicked out behind. The piece is finished with a variegated dark brown patina, showing lighter ochre and greenish-gold highlights in recessed areas. On the underside of the belly is a rectangular recessed seal mark containing two incised characters in Japanese script.
L: Approximately 13.4cm
Condition report:
The sculpture is in good stable condition. There is minor surface wear, small scuffs, and light oxidisation consistent with age and handling. No signs of repairs, breaks, or missing parts are visible. The delicate tail and horns remain intact.
