Elegantly seated in lalitasana on a double-lotus pedestal, this Tibetan gilt bronze figure represents White Tara, the goddess of compassion and longevity. Her right hand extends in varadamudra, the gesture of granting boons, while her left is raised in vitarka mudra and supports a lotus stem curling beside her shoulder. She wears an ornate crown, beaded jewellery, and a flowing dhoti.
