A Japanese Bronze Model of a Crayfish.
A finely cast Japanese bronze model depicting a crayfish in a naturalistic pose, its segmented body and arched tail rendered with careful anatomical detail. The elongated antennae extend forward from a rounded head, flanked by textured claws and multiple articulated legs that rest firmly beneath the body. The carapace is detailed with incised linear patterning suggesting the shell structure, while the abdomen is formed in tapering sections terminating in a fan-shaped tail.
