A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Lidded Box, Jiaqing Mark. –
A Chinese blue and white porcelain lidded box, bearing an underglaze blue six-character Jiaqing reign mark within a double circle to the base. The round box features a lid decorated with two confronting dragons amidst turbulent waves and clouds. The sides of both the lid and base display continuous stylized wave or scroll patterns, all executed in classic underglaze cobalt blue and white.
