A Chinese blue and white porcelain bottle, bearing a horizontal four-character ‘大明宣德’ (Dà Míng Xuāndé) reign mark to the shoulder, likely dating to the Qing Dynasty. The vessel features a flattened, faceted body and a ribbed neck. It is decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a prominent five-clawed dragon amidst auspicious clouds. A sculptural, applied dragon or serpent further adorns the neck and shoulder.
