A Chinese Blue and White Dragon Jar.
A Chinese blue and white porcelain jar of rounded baluster form, painted in cobalt blue with alternating panels. One panel depicts a coiled five-clawed dragon amid stylised clouds and flames, while the opposing panel features a circular reserve enclosing a bird in flight. The shoulder is decorated with a continuous band of floral and auspicious motifs, below a short straight neck with a plain rim.
