A Chinese Bronze Recumbent Qilin Figure.
The figure is cast in bronze and modelled as a recumbent mythical qilin, shown resting on all four legs with the body compact and low to the ground. The head is large and expressive, featuring prominent eyes, flared nostrils, an open mouth with visible teeth, and curling whiskers. The mane is rendered in flowing, striated locks that sweep back over the neck and shoulders. The body is covered with finely detailed scales, transitioning into a ridged spine and a curled tail tucked closely to one side. The legs are short and muscular, with clearly defined paws and claws, while the underside shows cast details and a recessed base.
