A Group of Four Abbasid Silver Dirhams, Including al-Muhammadīyah (185 AH & 77 AH) and Madīnat al-Salām (189 AH & 188 AH).
A set of four Abbasid silver dirhams, each struck with bold angular inscriptions arranged in concentric circular bands. The obverses display central horizontal inscription panels framed by double and triple beaded borders, surrounded by evenly spaced marginal script running along the outer ring. The reverses present tall vertical inscription blocks enclosed within multi-line circular frames, with clear geometric spacing between the lines of text.
