A Warring States to Han Dynasty Jade Belt Hook with Mask and Scroll Motifs, circa 475 BCE–220 CE.
A finely carved jade belt hook dating from the Warring States to Han Dynasty period (475 BCE–220 CE), sculpted in the form of an abstract anthropomorphic mask with prominent eyes and a squared headdress. The body is elegantly shaped with incised scroll motifs resembling stylised plumage or waves, and pierced with multiple holes likely for attachment. The reverse features a robust square button for fastening.
