A Chinese Jade Carving of a Bear and Cub.
A softly contoured jade group depicting a reclining bear gently nuzzling its cub. The figures are curled in a harmonious circular composition, their forms closely intertwined. The bear’s rounded head and strong limbs contrast with the smaller, more delicate features of the cub.
L: Approximately 6.5cm
Provenance: Private collection from a distinguished W London collector.
