A Rare Afsharid Gold Mohur of Nadir Shah, Isfahan Mint, AH 1158 (AD 1745).

Afsharid Empire: Nadir Shah (AH 1148–1160 / AD 1736–1747). AV Mohur (10.92g, 20mm), struck at Isfahan mint in AH 1158 (AD 1745), Type D. Boldly engraved in elegant Nastaʿlīq script, this exceptional gold coin features the ruler’s full name and titles. The obverse reads: "Sikka zad bar haft kishvar / ba fazl-i-Haqq Nadir-i zaman" (He struck coin in the seven climes / by God’s grace, Nadir of the age). Reverse inscribed with mint and date within a circular margin. Minor test mark and slight edge filing on the reverse. Referenced in Farahbakhsh 237-2; Album 2739.1; KM 389.
