A Collection of Islamic Rock Crystal Chess Pieces, 12th Century.
Each piece features distinct shapes and forms, some fluted or faceted, reflecting the stylized and symbolic nature of early Islamic chess sets. The variation in domed, ridged, and pointed silhouettes suggests representations of different chess roles, likely including pawns, rooks, and bishops.
