A Chinese Gilt Bronze Buddha Head.
A serene and finely cast gilt bronze Buddha head, featuring an elaborate coiffure of swirling curls rising to a domed ushnisha. The calm facial expression is defined by downcast almond-shaped eyes, arched brows, and full lips forming a gentle smile. A raised urna is centred on the forehead, and the ears are elongated. The back of the head is intricately worked with rhythmic, stylized whorls in high relief.
