A Chinese Gilt Bronze Figure of a Robust Standing Horse.
The horse stands solidly on all four short legs, its plump body exaggerated in volume. The high-arched neck is crowned with a stylised ridged mane, and the head features flared nostrils, open mouth, and perked ears, lending the figure a spirited expression. A small curled tail completes the composition, and the saddle is subtly indicated with raised bands along the back.
