A Bukharan Gilded Brass Ewer with Zoomorphic and Floral Motifs.
A richly decorated water jug from Bukhara crafted in brass with extensive gilding. The bulbous body is divided into lobed panels filled with finely engraved arabesques, leafy scrolls, and stylised birds. The domed lid is surmounted by a finial and adorned with pointed arches enclosing similar vegetal and avian motifs. The sweeping handle and long spout feature engraved floral designs.
