A Warring States Period Jade Pendant Carved as a Coiled Dragon, circa 475–221 BCE.
Carved from pale beige jade, this pendant takes the stylised form of a coiled dragon, its body composed of scrolling motifs and curved outlines. The creature’s head is defined by a single prominent spiral horn, while its tail curls around the lower register of the plaque. The lower section is shaped as a double-scroll openwork base, and incised with delicate linear patterns on both sides. The suspension hole at the centre suggests it was likely worn or attached to garments as a ritual or status object.
