A Chinese Bronze Mythical Beast Censer.
A finely cast Chinese bronze censer in the form of a standing mythical beast, shown with a wide grinning mouth, curled snout, and raised horn-like crest. The body is richly adorned with swirling mane patterns and layered curls, while the legs feature textured, scale-like detailing leading down to clawed feet. A small suspended bell hangs at the chest, adding to the creature’s animated presence. The back shows a looped tail and pronounced ridges along the spine. The underside reveals four splayed legs arranged in a squared formation.
