A Qajar Brass Engraved Kashkul with Figural and Calligraphic Cartouches.
An oval-form Qajar brass kashkul decorated with a continuous register of circular cartouches, each containing engraved depictions of seated figures, animals, and dense scrolling vegetal motifs. The upper section is encircled by an elegant band of calligraphic inscription framed within geometric borders. Additional engraved foliate designs adorn the lower body and rim. Two pierced suspension loops are set on opposite sides, each formed with stylised lattice and foliate elements.
