A Group of Five Sasanian Silver Dirhams of Khusro I and Khusro II.
A selection of five silver Sasanian dirhams, each displaying the crowned bust set within a finely beaded circular frame. The portraits show the tall crenellated crown, ribboned diadem, and detailed facial features characteristic of the issues of Khusro I and Khusro II. Around the bust, the flans feature crisp linear inscriptions arranged symmetrically, with crescent-and-star motifs positioned at intervals along the ring. The reverses bear the standing attendants flanking the central fire altar, surrounded by concentric beaded circles and framed by four small crescent marks placed at the cardinal points.
Each Dirham weighs approx. 4g
