A Large Chinese Openwork Jade Plaque Pendant with Stylised Dragon Motifs, Possibly Warring States.
The plaque is formed as a shallow crescent shape with finely pierced openwork decoration. The surface is covered with dense, evenly spaced raised dots, framed by scrolling cloud-like forms and stylised dragon heads at either end. The edges are articulated with rhythmic curls and pierced negative space, giving the piece a light, lace-like appearance despite its solid form.
