A Chinese Celadon-Glazed Porcelain Brushpot with Relief Oxen.
A cylindrical Chinese porcelain brushpot, finished in a warm celadon glaze with a mottled, earthy undertone. The exterior is adorned with a continuous procession of oxen in high relief, each rendered with naturalistic detail and expressive posture. Surrounding the figures are raised oval and square cartouches containing Chinese seal script inscriptions.
