A Tibetan Gilt-Bronze Figure of a Seated Bodhisattva – A Tibetan Gilt-Bronze Figure of a Seated Bodhisattva. The figure is finely cast in gilt-bronze, seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with draped petals, the right hand raised in vitarka mudra while the left holds a stem at the shoulder. Adorned with an elaborate five-pointed crown, earrings, beaded necklaces, and flowing robes, the serene face is framed by elongated lobes and hair arranged in high chignon. The base is richly decorated with lotus motifs and beaded borders.
