A Chinese Overlay Glass Snuff Bottle with Stylised Floral and Animal Motifs.
A Chinese snuff bottle of baluster form, carved in translucent grey glass and overlaid in deep cobalt blue, the surface worked in relief with scrolling vine designs, grape clusters, leaves, and stylised animal forms distributed around the body. The short cylindrical neck is fitted with a white glass collar and mounted with a domed orange stopper set within a metal mount.
