An Arabic manuscript of Kanz al-Laṭāʾif al-Nūrāniyya fī Asrār al-ʿUlūm al-Rūḥāniyya fī ʿIlm al-Siḥr, a work attributed to Imām Aḥmad ibn ʿAlī al-Būnī, dealing with esoteric sciences, spiritual knowledge, and the occult properties of letters and invocations.
The manuscript is bound in a dark brown leather binding with a central embossed medallion and ruled border lines. The text is written in black ink in a clear naskh hand, with key words, headings, and certain invocations highlighted in red. The opening folio bears a bold red title inscription referencing spiritual sciences and the science of magic, followed by ownership notes and marginal annotations in later hands.
The colophon attributes the copying to ʿAbdullāh ibn Ādam al-Ṭarābulusī and records the date as 900 AH (1494–95 AD). The manuscript comprises multiple folios with dense, continuous text, rubricated phrases, and occasional marginalia. The paper shows age-related toning, areas of staining, and handling wear, particularly to outer margins and opening leaves, consistent with devotional or practical use.
