Of flattened rounded rectangular form with gently sloping shoulders, the bottle finely carved and polished from striking naturally banded agate, displaying flowing concentric bands of caramel-brown, amber, cream and greyish-white tones across the body.
One narrow side is carved with a stylised archaistic motif, the natural figuring of the stone continuing around the reverse. With a short cylindrical neck and recessed oval foot, fitted with a domed reddish hardstone stopper with gilt-metal collar.
