A Mixed Group of Indus Valley Terracotta Vessels, 2nd Millennium BC - A mixed group of nine ancient ceramic artifacts, attributed to the Indus Valley Civilisation and dating to the 2nd Millennium BC. The collection comprises various utilitarian vessels, a figural statuette, an oil lamp-like object, and a pottery shard. Primarily unglazed earthenware or terracotta, the pieces display diverse forms and decorative styles. Some items feature remnants of painted motifs in red, orange, yellow, and green pigments, while one small jar showcases a mottled turquoise-green glaze. Modern inventory numbers, such as "53" and "39," are visible on white adhesive labels on some items.
