An Egyptian Carved Stone Relief Stele, Possibly Ancient.

A carved stone relief stele of rectangular form with a rounded arched top. The front is finely incised with a figural scene showing three seated figures rendered in low relief, facing one another in a formal arrangement. Above the figures runs a horizontal band of hieroglyphic inscriptions, with additional hieroglyphs positioned between and above the figures. The lower register includes further symbolic elements and carved details associated with funerary or votive scenes.

Provenance: Private collection from a distinguished British gentleman.
