A Mason’s Ironstone ‘Double Landscape’ Ginger Jar, 20th Century.

A finely decorated English ironstone ginger jar by Mason’s, featuring the vibrant ‘Double Landscape’ pattern. The bulbous form is adorned with alternating panels of traditional Chinese-inspired landscapes and stylised cartouches in a bold palette of cobalt blue, burnt orange, and gilded accents. The top band and lid mirror the intricate designs, culminating in a domed cover with matching decoration. The underside bears the Mason’s Ironstone mark and indicates this is a 20th-century reproduction of an original design by Charles James Mason, first produced in 1830.

H: Approximately 25cm

Provenance: Private collection from a distinguished British collector.
