An Indo-Persian Brass Ewer Set with Basin and Footed Stand, 19th Century
A finely engraved Indo-Persian brass ewer accompanied by a matching basin and footed stand. The bulbous body of the ewer features intricate arabesques and floral scrollwork, highlighted by black inlay motifs. The spout, lid, and handle are elegantly stylised, with a knotted serpent-form grip. The shallow basin mirrors the same intricate foliate patterns, with a pierced central rosette, while the stand is densely ornamented with interlacing vegetal designs.
