A Rajput or Mughal Equestrian Portrait of Raja Abhay Singh, 18th/19th Century - An Indian miniature painting on paper, depicting Raja Abhay Singh on horseback. The regal male figure is rendered in vibrant opaque pigments against a plain greenish-blue ground. Adorned with a turban, olive green jama, multiple pearl necklaces, and holding a spear, the figure features a gold halo, indicative of royalty or divinity. Text visible on the pink saddlecloth identifies the rider as 'Raja Abhay Singh' (राजा अभय सिंह), situating the piece stylistically within the 18th/19th-century Rajput or Mughal tradition.

Approximately 34.5 x 25.5cm
