A French porcelain oil lamp base, adorned with vibrant hand-painted floral bouquets on a white ground with soft turquoise framing. The body is flanked by twin ornate handles with gilt detailing and Rococo-style relief work. The piece is mounted on an elaborately cast gilt-bronze (ormolu) base with scrolling acanthus motifs.
