An Indian Deccan Engraved Copper Kashkul Beggar's Bowl, 17th–18th Century.

An Deccan Indian copper beggar’s bowl engraved in high detail with continuous bands of elegant Islamic calligraphy in thuluth script. The inscriptions wrap around the entirety of the bulbous body, framed by fine scrolling vegetal borders. The lip is wide and slightly flared, with additional inscriptions along the inner rim.
