An Islamic Bronze Multi-Spout Oil Lamp with Bird Finial.
An Islamic bronze oil lamp featuring a cylindrical domed body mounted on four paw-shaped feet. This striking piece includes eight projecting nozzles arranged radially around the base for holding wicks, each set into angular spouts. The hinged lid at the centre of the dome opens for refilling, topped by a looped finial. Rising from one end is a tall vertical support terminating in a perched bird figure, likely symbolic or protective in function.
