A Timurid Copper Ewer, 15-16th Century.

A finely engraved copper ewer from the Timurid period. The bulbous body, flared foot, and domed lid are adorned with intricate arabesque and floral scrollwork, bordered by finely interlaced geometric designs. The upper shoulder band features a continuous Arabic inscription in elegant thuluth script. The curved handle terminates in a stylized dragon head
