An oval talismanic seal stone crafted from a translucent yellow-orange agate. The face of the stone is meticulously carved in relief with Arabic calligraphy arranged within three horizontal registers separated by fine groundlines. The inscription contains the Nad-e-Ali prayer, a well-known Shi’a invocation praising and calling upon Ali. The background of the script is recessed, creating a textured ground that contrasts with the polished surfaces of the raised lettering.
