A Chinese celadon-glazed stoneware ewer and matching warming bowl set. The ewer is designed with an ovoid body, a curved spout, and a loop handle, featuring a tiered lid with a bud-shaped finial. The neck is decorated with vertical carved ribs, and the body is ornamented with deeply incised floral medallions, possibly peonies or chrysanthemums, surrounded by scrolling foliage. The base of the ewer is encircled by a band of overlapping lotus petals. The warming bowl matches this decorative scheme and features a six-lobed foliated rim. Both components are covered in a translucent sea-green glaze with a fine, uniform crackle.
