A Chinese porcelain bowl of shallow form, attributed to the Jingdezhen kilns of the Song to Yuan dynasty. The vessel is covered in a qingbai glaze of pale bluish-white tone, which pools to a deeper hue within the carved decoration. The interior is decorated with fluidly incised and carved motifs, featuring a central medallion of scrolling floral patterns surrounded by radiating overlapping leaf forms. The exterior remains undecorated.

Condition report:
The bowl exhibits scattered iron-oxide spots and minor kiln grit inclusions within the glaze. The rim shows minor roughness and fritting. There is age-appropriate wear to the glazed surfaces and staining to the unglazed foot and base.
