An Ottoman calligraphic panel, executed in ink and gilt on paper, centred by an elaborate symmetrical composition of interlaced Arabic calligraphy incorporating the name Allah and further devotional inscriptions. The central calligraphic design is enclosed by black inscription bands with white script and a broad blue border decorated with further calligraphy, heightened with red and gilt rules. Signed or inscribed towards the lower centre. Presented within a later glazed frame.
