A Chinese Carved Glass Snuff Bottle in the Form of a Recumbent Boy with a Rat.
The snuff bottle is carved in translucent glass of soft milky tone, modelled as a reclining boy with a rounded face, gently smiling expression, and finely detailed facial features. The figure lies atop a naturalistic base, with a small rat depicted climbing across the body and resting near the shoulder, adding a playful and symbolic element to the composition.
