A Tantric Hindu Manuscript Painting Depicting a Demon and Attendant Figures, Watercolour on Paper.
A vivid manuscript-style composition depicting a large grey-skinned demonic figure shown in dynamic motion across the upper register, surrounded by smaller attendant figures engaged in ritual or combat-like poses. The central figure is adorned with jewellery and elongated features, rendered with expressive movement and outstretched limbs. Below, three smaller figures are depicted holding weapons and ritual objects, including a trident and staff, while a hybrid creature appears at the right. The background is filled with Devanagari script, suggesting a Tantric or ritual manuscript context. Executed in bold colours including olive green, red, grey, and ochre, with fine detailing throughout. Presented within a framed mount.
