A Chinese Glass or Rock Crystal Carving of Intertwined Monkey Figures.
The carving depicts a compact, sculptural grouping of intertwined monkey figures, arranged in a dynamic, circular composition. The translucent glass or rock crystal material has a clear to smoky appearance, allowing light to pass through the overlapping forms. The monkeys are rendered with rounded bodies, incised facial features, and gently modelled limbs that interlock and wrap around one another.
