A Chinese Polychrome Yellow Ground Porcelain Dragon Stem Bowl.
A Chinese porcelain stem bowl of flared form, raised on a tall cylindrical foot, the exterior decorated with alternating lobed panels enclosing lively dragons painted in underglaze blue and iron red, set against a rich yellow ground. The foot is further embellished with stylised flame-like motifs in blue, green, and iron red. The interior is glazed in a pale celadon tone, centred with a finely painted dragon roundel encircled by double blue lines, beneath a scalloped rim highlighted with a blue border.
