A Chinese Famille Rose ‘Dragon’ Dish, Guangxu Mark. –
A circular Chinese porcelain dish, decorated with vibrant polychrome enamels in the Famille Rose palette. The interior features three five-clawed dragons in orange, green, and pink, depicted amidst flaming pearls and stylized cloud/flame motifs in various colors, all set against a white ground. The rim is adorned with an elaborate blue and pink ruyi-head or cloud scroll border, finished with a thin orange band. The exterior is sparsely decorated with six stylized red motifs, resembling bats or fungus, symmetrically placed around the cavetto. The base bears a four-character red reign mark in regular script: 大清光緒年製 (Dà Qīng Guāngxù Nián Zhì), which translates to "Made in the Guangxu reign of the Great Qing."
